Daucus carota sativus L.
Historic yellow carrot with a strong flavour, high juice content and low sugar content.
The yellow Lobberich carrot is a centuries-old yellow carrot that is characterised by its intense flavour. This juicy carrot can be enjoyed both raw and cooked. When raw, it has less sweetness and sugar than a modern cultivated carrot. When cooked, it develops a strong and slightly sweet carrot flavour. This variety is also easy to store and can be used as a fodder carrot when harvested later, as it produces heavy carrots up to 25cm long.
